Over 75 members showed up on a hot July 4th to learn more about the Association's recent accomplishments and learn more about the upcoming Town Meeting.
Members were asked to contact their state representatives to encourage them to support Representative Cantwell's proposed municipal financing amendment which would extend the debt servicing portion of any loan obtained by the Town to 20 years. http://www.marshfieldbeachassociation.org/click-here-for-example-letter/
In addition, members also were provided information about voter registration/eligibility requirements and were asked to help drum up support for the vote on August 2nd.

Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 06:05PM The Association had a very strong initial meeting on June 5, 2010 with representatives from the Town of Marshfield's Emergency Management Office and Senator Scott Brown's office present, as well as updates from Senator Hedlund and Representative Cantwell.
